AUT University (NZL)

My various industry experience includes: education, sport, tourism, aviation, property, and horticulture with roles in research, marketing, management, leadership, and project management where I have been able to combine my practical and intellectual capabilities. Empowering people to believe in themselves and achieve their potential has given my life a ‘real’ purpose. In 2020, I completed a doctorate which investigated the barriers and enablers of women working in sport management in Aotearoa - New Zealand. My drive to understand the WHY? led me to this topic, and the answers I found are what I wish to convey during the 2022 IWG Conference.
