Mrs. Päivi Aalto-Nevalainen is a Doctor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. She is also a Master of Sport Sciences in Sport Planning and Management and a physiotherapist. Päivi has done part of her studies in New Zealand (Otago University) and in Sweden. Earlier she has been working e.g. in Finnish Gymnastics Federation as a District Manager and an Education Manager. Since 2010 she has been working as a Senior Ministerial Adviser in the Ministry of Education and Culture, Sports Division. Päivi’s conferece presentation is about her doctoral study on women and men sports managers’ career success and pay.
