Maureen Rosita OJONG EBOB-BESONG is an entrepreneur and leader working in the field of sport and development. Maureen Rosita has deployed her expertise while working with NGO's, International and Intergovernmental organisations such as the UNESCO International Bureau of Education in Geneva, SEED Project, UNESCO Paris, the German Corporation for International Cooperation GIZ/GmbH (GIZ/Sports for Development Africa Program) (Africa), and the
OlympAfrica International Foundation, just to name a few. Ms OJONG EBOB-BESONG holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administrative Law from the University of Yaoundé II in Cameroon, a Master’s in Science degree (MSc) in International Business from the University of Derby (UK), an MBA in Sport Management from ESG Paris/ISM, Dakar and a Certificate in Sport and Physical Activity Psychology from the University of Derby (UK).
Maureen is a recipient of the Matilda Mbawa Fellowship for Young Female Leaders in Sport (2021), which enabled her study sports entrepreneurship at the University of London. She was recently been trained to deploy the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Values Education Program.
Maureen is equally, a pioneer Alumni ('21/22) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC)'s International Safeguarding in Sport certification . In 2021 Maureen was selected to join the French African Foundation's Young Leader Program , an international program under the patronage of their excellencies President Macky SALL of the Republic of Senegal and President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic.
