Lesley McIntosh

Sport Tasman (NZL)
New Zealand

I have a passion for working in the Not for Profit (NFP) sector, as it has a heart and soul, so the last 18 years
has been a golden ride. My experience has been in the sport and active recreation sector where I have
been fortunate to work both within NZ and internationally at a regional and national level, and interestingly both at a grass roots and high performance level. Awesomely, my peers have had trust in me to create
change, influence and bring creativity to every role I have held and this may be due my energy and passion (which you will see).

My current role has me managing two larger portfolios; the active recreation arm of our Regional Sports Trust in Te Tauihu (top of the South Island) and our women and girls project called Kōhine Māia, creating bold confident teenage girls. Both of these are incredible rewarding and are making a postive impact directly on rangatahi, while creating advocacy and influence t a partner/provider level.
