Helene has over 10 years’ experience working at Logan City Council in sport and recreation planning. Coming originally from France where she received a master is sustainable sport and tourism development. She worked the USA for Maryland State Parks for 4 years prior to moving to Australia. This experience has given her an international perspective on the industry. Helene is passionate about getting more people active and always looks to back up her work with reliable research and data. Over the years she has led nature based recreation initiatives, master planning, strategy development, community engagement and more.
