Gen is the President of Women Sport Australia (WSA) and has been on the Board since 2017.

In her first year as President of WSA, Gen led the voluntary board of 11 directors to increase the organisation’s visibility to new heights.

In 2021, WSA had 40 participants in the online Women in Sport mentoring program including seven scholarships funded by partner Shona Joy, received 313 image submissions for the Women in Sport Photo Action Award competition that involved News Corp as a media partner, launched a Gender Equity in Sport Pledge & Virtual Roundtable for Women in Sport groups and partnered with Cadbury chocolate to facilitate $150,000 of uniform grants for grassroots clubs across Australia.

Gen works full time as CEO for Table Tennis Victoria and has a rich history working in sport administration. She has held marketing and communications roles with Netball Australia, Racing Victoria, Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union and Gymnastics Victoria and has worked as a dance teacher for 15 years.
