Ciccone Hakaraia-Turner is a 18 year old critical care worker on the frontline employed by an Indigenous Māori Health Organisation. A recent graduate of a full immersion Māori Secondary School, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Hoani Waititi Marae, she plans to pursue her interest in medicine at Medical School. She sits on the Netball New Zealand Youth Board and is an avid sports enthusiast participating in Netball, Crossfit and Olympic Weightlifting. Ciccone was previously a panellist on the 2021 Sport New Zealand Women and Girls Summit.
