He has a Global Sport, Olympic and Commonwealth Movement reputation as a fearless, insightful, creative, transformational thought leader and key note speaker . 

Calling  out the Global Sport Movement as an "Old boys Club and Patriachy" .  In speaking out against historic, systemic, structural and institutional racism, classism, sexism, ableism , discrimination, injustices and unconscious bias in global sport . His presentations challenge audiences to pay attention to what matters most and articulates actionable , authentic and meaningful strategies and next steps.

With a successful background in  entrepreneurship , sport leadership and volunteerism he brings a unique perspective gained from his lived experience as an Afro Caribbean diversity, inclusion and equality advocate and champion.

With over 30 years of  volunteer sport leadership and management experience . He served (2017/ 2018)  as a member of the historic International Olympic Committee( IOC)  Gender Equality Review Working Group . 

Is a current member of the Association of National Olympic Committees ( ANOC) Gender Equity Commission, Chair of the Sport Integrity Global Alliance ( SIGA) Gender, Racism, Inclusion and Diversity ( GRID) Standing Committee .

Credited as conceptualizing and establishing the landmark Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee ( TTOC/ Trinidad andTobago Commonwealth Games Association( TTCGA) " Future is Female" Programme during his tenure ( 2013- 2022) as TTOC and TTCGA President . April 30th 2022,  he passed the baton to the 1st elected female TTOC/TTCGA President. In 2013 in stepping down as the then Secretary General he created the path for the 1st female to be Elected TTOC/TTCGA Secretary General. In 2017 he was the catalyst for the 1st ever Gender equal TTOC/TTCGA Executive Committee. 

At the 2018 IOC Olympism In Action Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina He publicly declared that the next IOC President should be a woman .

He is the Immediate Past President of the TTOC/ TTCGA , President of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees ( CANOC).

A sought after Gender Equality Advocate,  Mentor and Ally. Brian credits his single parent mother( Jennifer)  as his inspiration and hero.

He has an Executive Masters Degree in Sport Organisation Management ( MEMOS) his thesis research project focused on Governance in Sport.
