Anna Goorevich (she/her/hers) is a graduate student pursuing a PhD in Kinesiology/Sport Sociology at the University of Minnesota, where she also serves as a Research Assistant in the Tucker Center for Research on Girls and Women in Sport. Previously, she was the 2021-2022 US-UK Fulbright Postgraduate Scholar at the University of Stirling in Scotland, UK where she recieved a master’s degree in Sport Management. Goorevich’s research interests revolve around the gendering of coaching and sport leadership, gender identity and sport participation, and menstruation and sport. Her previous research background has involved studies of athletic leadership, gender essentialism, and heteronormativity, transgender athlete inclusion in sport, as well as gender inequity in youth soccer programs in the UK.
